We live in such a complex and confusing world. Zechariah and Elizabeth had deep faith, and their faith received favor from God as evidenced by the birth of John. Their faith is also recognized by Islam as the three are mentioned in the Qur’an, chapter 20, verse 9.
Almighty God, help us to see the similarities we share with our brothers and sisters more than the differences. Amen.
