In God I Trust
Genesis 15:5-6 – [The LORD] brought [Abram] outside and said, “Look toward heaven and count the stars, if you are able to count them.” Then he said to him, “So shall your descendants be.” And [Abram] believed the LORD; and the LORD reckoned it to him as righteousness.
Children in your old age! Descendents as numerous as the stars! God makes extraordinary promises to seemingly ordinary people who share a deep, abiding faith. I pray for the faith of Abraham.
Prayer: Gracious God, thank you for the promise that you will always be with me. AMEN.
