Thursday, March 7, 2013 – Fourth Sunday of Lent, Year C
2 Corinthians 5:18-19 – All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting the message of reconciliation to us.
Two synonyms for reconciliation are bringing together and understanding. I see my faith journey as a ministry that seeks to unite people. During your contemplative time today, consider your own ministry of reconciliation.
Prayer: Gracious God, help us to better understand your will so that we might be more help to others. Amen.
