Sixth Sunday of Epiphany 2017 – 1 Corinthians 3:8-9

1 Corinthians 3:8-9 –  The one who plants and the one who waters have a common purpose, and each will receive wages according to the labor of each.  For we are God’s servants, working together; you are God’s field, God’s building.

As we enter the last half of this week together, we are reminded that it is our collective work as people of faith that builds God’s Kingdom.  Each of us is precious to God, and each of us is vital to God’s purpose.

Almighty God, help us to build a community where our love for and actions toward one another reflect our love for you.  Amen.
