Sixth Sunday of Epiphany 2017 – Psalm 119:1-3

Psalm 119:1-3 – Happy are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the LORD.  Happy are those who keep his decrees, who seek him with their whole heart, who also do no wrong, but walk in his ways.

God calls flawed people.  Think of Jacob and his deception, Peter and his denials, Paul and his atrocities as Saul to name a few.  That said, the arc of their lives was clearly in steady service to God.

Loving God, help us to seek you with our whole hearts, and forgive us for all the times we are going to fall short.  Amen.
