Proper 11 (16) 2016 – Colossians 1:15-16

Colossians 1:15-16Christ is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; for in him all things in heaven and on earth were created, things visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or powers–all things have been created through him and for him.

Readers of this devotion represent the multitude of the denominations within Christianity, and I know faithful friends from other traditions read this daily offering, too.  All of us, I believe, are drawn together by our search for God’s will, and its meaning in our own lives.

Awesome God, give us the wisdom to understand how best show our love to all our neighbors in this complicated world.  Amen.
