Isaiah 43:19 – I am about to do a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
“This is my son, the beloved…” Whenever I read words from God, my voice drops to my lower register, and I speak very clearly and with force. Unfortunately for most of us, God’s voice is more nuanced, and perceiving God’s will might not be so easy by us.
Creator God, grant us the wisdom to hear both your voice and its’ meaning in our lives. Amen.
