Fourth Sunday after Epiphany 2016 – Jeremiah 1:7-8

Jeremiah 1:7-8But the LORD said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am only a boy’; for you shall go to all to whom I send you, and you shall speak whatever I command you.  Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you to deliver you, says the LORD.”

Jeremiah felt inadequate for the task God have given him.  God instructs Jeremiah that if he listens, he will know what to say to the people.

Ever-present God, grant us wisdom so that we can understand your voice in our lives.  Amen.
