New Year’s Eve 2015 – Ephesians 1:11-12

December 31, 2015

Ephesians 1:11-12In Christ we have also obtained an inheritance, having been destined according to the purpose of him who accomplishes all things according to his counsel and will, so that we, who were the first to set our hope on Christ, might live for the praise of his glory.

We have made it through another year.  As 2015 begins to fade in our rear view mirrors, I hope all of you will have a joyous and prosperous 2016.

Gracious, loving and everlasting God, thank you for the many blessings you have bestowed on us in 2015.  As we approach the dawn of 2016:

  • Give us ears to hear your voice in our lives,
  • Give us eyes to see the opportunities to serve others in your name, and
  • Give us strong hands and feet to do that work you place before us.  Amen.
