Proper 28/Ordinary 33 2015 – Hebrews 10:24-25

Hebrews 10:24-25And let us consider how to provoke one another to love and good deeds, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

You can’t provoke someone to love and good deeds if you aren’t in community with that person in some way.  As faithful people, we are instructed to care for one another, and as is suggested by today’s passage, help one another to be better neighbors.

God of all creation, help us to incite love today.  Strengthen our will so that we can entice one another to help to our neighbors as we are able.  Amen.
