Mark 12:42-43 – A poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which are worth a penny.  Then Jesus called his disciples and said to them, “Truly I tell you, this poor widow has put in more than all those who are contributing to the treasury.”

The widow’s coins were all she had to live on, according to Jesus.  With this gift from her heart, she was left with nothing but her faith in God.

Understanding God, continue to strengthen our faith in you so that we can live the lives of service you desire from us.  Amen.
