Hebrews 4:15For we do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who in every respect has been tested as we are, yet without sin.

As I Christian, I cling to the belief that Jesus experienced life on this earth as both fully human and fully divine.  And while I also believe Jesus didn’t make poor decisions like all of us make from time to time, I am comforted with the knowledge that Jesus appreciates just how hard our personal struggles can be.

Gracious God, help us to appreciate the depth of your understanding love for us.  Amen.
