Seventh Sunday of Easter 2015 – Psalm 1:3

Tuesday, May 12, 2015

Psalm 1:3They are like trees planted by streams of water, which yield their fruit in its season, and their leaves do not wither. In all that they do, they prosper.

I planted a hybrid tulip/magnolia bush in my front yard some years ago, and it was a pitiful specimen of a plant.  Two years ago, I could tell its roots had finally reached the water table where water is plentiful, because now it ushers in Spring with lush green leaves and beautiful flowers.

Loving God, help us to drink from the deep well of your Word.  Amen.
