Second Sunday of Easter 2015 – John 20:30-31

John 20:30-31Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book.  But these are written so that you may come to believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that through believing you may have life in his name.

I don’t know about you, but I wish John had written more of the other signs down.  But reading through the 20th chapter of John, my faith is made stronger by both Peter’s belief and Thomas’ doubt.

Loving and merciful God, we serve you faithfully, but we are broken people.  Thank you for using us anyways.  Amen.
