Fourth Sunday of Lent 2015 – Numbers 21:7-8

Tuesday, March 10, 2015

Numbers 21:7-8The people came to Moses and said, “We have sinned by speaking against the LORD and against you; pray to the LORD to take away the serpents from us.” So Moses prayed for the people.  And the LORD said to Moses, “Make a poisonous serpent, and set it on a pole; and everyone who is bitten shall look at it and live.”

‘Trust God’ is a phrase many of us often say.  While uttering these words is easy, actually practicing them can be quite challenging.  We pray today for the strength to look to God for all our help and healing.

Mighty God, help us to live with the confidence that you are a never-ending presence in our lives.  Amen.
