Luke 1:46b-48“My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has looked with favor on the lowliness of his servant. Surely, from now on all generations will call me blessed; for the Mighty One has done great things for me, and holy is his name.”

The Song of Mary. The Magnificat.  This is part of the Biblical account of the response of what was likely a teen age girl after being told she was going to give birth to the Son of God.  God does amazing things through the most unlikely people.

Almighty God, give us a confidence in ourselves that can only come from the faith in your never-ending presence in our lives.  Amen.
