Third Sunday of Advent, 2014 – Isaiah 61:10

Tuesday, December 9, 2014

Isaiah 61:10I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my whole being shall exult in my God; for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation, he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with a garland, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.

In my devotional, Walking to the Manger, I encourage us to walk as a spiritual discipline during this season of Advent.  This is one way we can encourage one another to exult in God with our whole being.

Everlasting God, thank you for hearing and understanding our prayers whether we are moving our legs or our lips.  Amen.
