Matthew 23:11-12The greatest among you will be your servant.  All who exalt themselves will be humbled, and all who humble themselves will be exalted.

In a world where we are encouraged to get ahead, to outpace our neighbor, it is hard to imagine being a servant.  But God expects us to care for one another…to serve one another.  Imagine for a moment today how bold your personal ministry to others could be if you knew that you could count on all the rest of us.

Everlasting and loving God, bless our efforts to help each other in significant, life-changing ways.  Amen.
