Philippians 2:1-2If then there is any encouragement in Christ, any consolation from love, any sharing in the Spirit, any compassion and sympathy, make my joy complete: be of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.

Paul speaks in earlier verses of the privilege or serving Christ, and he wanted the Philippians to live as one body, as one mind serving Christ.  Let our prayer today be for lives lived in community with this same unity of purpose as Paul desired.

Gracious God, help us to live together bound by a common love for you.  Amen.
