Proper 15/Ordinary 20, 2014 – Genesis 45:7-8

Genesis 45:7-8God sent me before you to preserve for you a remnant on earth, and to keep alive for you many survivors. So it was not you who sent me here, but God; he has made me a father to Pharaoh, and lord of all his house and ruler over all the land of Egypt.

I am inspired by Joseph’s boldness in declaring “God sent me…” Several times today, stop and declare to yourself that you are right where God wants you…that God has placed you in this moment to serve a particular purpose.

Loving God, help us to see the path you have set in front of us today. Amen.
