Romans 7:22-23For I delight in the law of God in my inmost self, but I see in my members another law at war with the law of my mind, making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members.

Paul speaks of a battle that rages to varying degrees inside each of us – the battle between God’s will and personal will. I have been fortunate to work for many years among people who genuinely seek to do God’s will every day. I am a better person of faith as a result.

Loving God, help us to listen more intentionally for your voice as we seek to do your will in all we do. Amen.
