Matthew 10:29-31Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. And even the hairs of your head are all counted. So do not be afraid; you are of more value than many sparrows.

I couldn’t help but smile at the fact that I don’t have near as many hairs on my head as I once did. But I rejoice with confidence that God knows me better than I know myself.

Loving God, help us to see ourselves as you see us. Help us to remember that you love us as we are. Amen.
