Proverbs 16:2-3 – All one’s ways may be pure in one’s own eyes, but the Lord weighs the spirit. Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.
Listening is a recurring theme in Proverbs. We are admonished to listen to our parents, and to take into account the advice of our friends and coworkers. Of course, we are also instructed to listen to God.
Prayer: Almighty God, help us commit our lives to you every day so that our plans will be your plans. Amen.
