Daily Devotion from the Church Health Center – Galatians 6:9-11

Friday, July 5, 2013 – Proper 9/Ordinary 13, Year C

Galatians 6:9-11So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up. So then, whenever we have an opportunity, let us work for the good of all, and especially of the family of faith. See what large letters I make when I am writing in my own hand!

I couldn’t help but think of Paul as writing in all caps which we all know now is internet-speak for shouting. ‘WORK FOR THE GOOD OF ALL WHENEVER GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY!’

Prayer (inspired by Galatians 6:1-2): Gracious God, instill in us a spirit of gentleness so that we might bear one another’s burdens. Amen.
