Daily Devotion from the Church Health Center – Psalm 32:1-2

Wednesday, June 12, 2013 – Proper 6/Ordinary 11, Year C

Psalm 32:1-2, 10Happy are those whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Happy are those to whom the LORD imputes no iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit…Many are the torments of the wicked, but steadfast love surrounds those who trust in the LORD.

We will be distracted from God’s will for us from time to time. We will use power over someone in a way that hurts them. We are reminded in this scripture that our God is a forgiving God who offers us steadfast love.

Prayer: Steadfast God, bless our efforts this day that they will reflect your will, and forgive us if we fall short of the mark. Amen.
