Daily Devotion from the Church Health Center – Isaiah 43:19-20

Tuesday, March 12, 2013 – Fifth Sunday of Lent, Year C

Isaiah 43:19-20 – I am about to do a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. The wild animals will honor me, the jackals and ostriches; for I give water in the wilderness, rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people…

It is easy for us to place limits on God’s power, but this passage reminds us that with God, the possibilities are limitless. Expect the unexpected. Expect the impossible, for you are walking into God’s plan, not yours.

Prayer: Almighty God, help us see the path toward which you are directing us. Amen.
