Daily Devotion from the Church Health Center – Isaiah 50:7-8

Tuesday, March 27, 2012 – Sixth Sunday of Lent, Year B

Isaiah 50:7-8The Lord GOD helps me; therefore I have not been disgraced; therefore I have set my face like flint, and I know that I shall not be put to shame; he who vindicates me is near. Who will contend with me? Let us stand up together. Who are my adversaries? Let them confront me.

People of faith: Stand Together! Throughout life, many of us struggle alone needlessly. God is always by our side, but often the best visual evidence of God’s presence is when we stand together with our brothers and sisters of faith.

Prayer: Loving God, help us create a community of faith where all of us feel supported and loved. AMEN.
